Sengwa Safaris is a semi-permanent traditional tented camp in the east of Matusadona.  Located near the Sanyati West campsite and National Parks checkpoint, the Sengwa camp is a relatively remote base from which to explore the the park.  Best access to the Sengwa Safaris camp is via boat from Kariba.

Matusadona itself is regarded as one of the top walking safari destinations in Zimbabwe having earned a reputation for its healthy population of lions and the fact that it's one of the last wild sanctuaries of the endangered black rhino. 

Mana Pools is the other important walking safari destination served by the Kariba hub into the lower Zambezi Valley.  Mana of course is equally well known as a canoe safari destination.  Consider our walking and canoeing combination safaris in the Valley.
