The Classic Zambezi Tented Safari is a 6 night/ 7 day safari including 3 nights in a tented safari camp on the Mana Pools flood plain plus 3 nights in Maronga Tented Camp in the west of Matusadona.The safari includes a return light aircraft charter to Mana Pools, a return Float Plane charter to Maronga, all local transfers, Park Entry, Guide fees, Government levy and is all inclusive of accommodation, meals, drinks, laundry etc. Domestic air fares to and from Kariba, gratuities and expenses of a personal nature are excluded. The Mana Pools section is operated by Patrick Brakspear of Classic Africa Safaris, the Matusadona section is operated by Chris Worden and Steve Edwards of Musango Safari Camp.

Safari Itinerary Day 1: Arrive Kariba and connect directly to a small plane charter flight (30 minutes) to Mana Pools. Guests are collected from the Mana airstrip and transferred to the Tented Camp on the banks of the Zambezi where they will stay for 3 nights. Activities include guided walks, canoeing and game-drives within the National Park. Victor Ncube is the Professional Guide on this section of the safari. Day 2: Mana Pools Tented Camp Day 3: Mana Pools Tented Camp Day 4: After a morning activity and a hearty breakfast clients are transferred by air charter to Maronga Tented Camp in Matusadona. Here they will be met by Chris Worden who will escort them to this private camp on the Maronga river. Activities include guided walks, game-viewing by vehicle, pontoon, and canoe. Day 5: Maronga Tented Camp Day 6: Maronga Tented Camp Day 7: Clients are transferred by float plane back to Kariba in time to meet their connecting flights. |
